FAQ

WHEN DO I GET MY GOODIES!

We ship once a month. We’ll let you know via email when to expect your shipment.

I GOT MY GOODIES, BUT THE ICE ISN’T FROZEN. IS IT OK?

Yes! Some melting in transit is to be expected. But, your cheese can survive without it being ice-cold.

IS THIS CHEESE ROTTEN? I OPENED THE BOX AND IT SMELLS FUNKY!

Some cheeses smell funkier than others, but that doesn't mean they're rotten.  During transit, odors naturally get trapped within the box.  Upon arrival, unpack your cheese, and get them into the fridge - we recommend storing them in the veggie crisper.

HOW DO I STORE IT?

Wax paper or parchment paper is best. This style of wrap protects the cheese, and allows it to breathe. Plastic-wrap is the arch enemy of cheese! It suffocates the cheese and will impart a plastic-y taste to your lovely little cheeses, so don’t wrap them that way!  And, as mentioned above, the veggie crisper is the perfect spot for cheese - cool, a little humid, and out of direct air flow.

I WANT TO CANCEL OR CHANGE MY MEMBERSHIP

Easy peasy. We can do that quickly and painlessly. Just email us anytime and we’ll address your request.

HOW DO I SERVE MY CHEESE?

Serve cheese at room temp. Remove it from the fridge a good 1/2 hour before serving it. We like to eat cheese with a few add-ons (bread, crackers, etc).  Sometimes we try various condiments with our cheese, like fresh fruit, jams and honey.  Experiment and do what makes you happy!  And if you find a terrific pairing, let us know!  We'll be excited to try it.

HOW LONG DOES CHEESE LAST?

Good question!  We recommend one to two weeks for soft cheeses and up to 3 weeks for the harder, aged cheeses.  Keeping your cheese happy will increase it's life.
